Using the OAP (Other Absence Paid) code when biweekly employees are released early
When biweekly employees are permitted to leave early the day before a holiday, it is very important that they clock out. Any remaining time to be paid for the day should then be charged to an OAP (other absence paid) code.
If you are a biweekly employee, use the Report an Absence task to change the LE (left early) code to OAP. If you are an approver, you can change this code for the employee by using the Edit & Approve by Job Assignment task.
